Youth Music Theatre is searching for 250 of the most talented, vibrant and energetic young performers, musicians and stage managers to join the 2012 company.
Anyone aged between 11 and 21 years old with an interest in building a future career on stage can audition for the company on 14 or 26 February at the City of Westminster College, with numerous other audition locations on offer across the UK.
Youth Music Theatre, which counts We Will Rock You’s Lauren Samuels and singer Ed Sheeran as alumni, devise and commission brand new musicals every year. Successful applicants will have the chance to take part in a residential project over the summer holidays to create a new production. The young theatre makers will eat, sleep and rehearse the project over the course of two to three weeks, before presenting the show at a professional theatre.
