Wicked is celebrating another incredible achievement tonight, as the show plays its 5000th performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Already the 14th longest-running West End musical, the brilliant production will celebrate its 12th birthday next month.
Meanwhile, we’re also celebrating the first week of Kids Week! And what a week it’s been. Over the past seven days, hundreds of children aged 16 or under have made life-long memories by seeing a show for free – including Wicked. So to help spread the Wicked and Kids Week love, we’re sharing some of your comments about them both.

The reimagining of the classic story, The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz, has been winning over the hearts of theatregoers for 12 years thanks to its incredible sets, costumes, songs and performances. Thank you all for sharing your experience – and congratulations to everybody at Wicked!
Based on the best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire – which reimagines the brilliant story written by L Frank Baum – Wicked tells the story of the shy, misunderstood, green Elphaba and the popular, blonde Galinda. The two girls meet at sorcery school and form an unlikely but profound friendship which changes their lives forever.
