While most people were preparing to love (or loathe) Valentines Day, Theatreland was buzzing full of love for new casts, new production shots and of course, Danny Dyer.

Famous faces in Theatreland this Spring
From Tom Hiddleston and Matthew Broderick, to Gillian Anderson and Lily James pairing up in All About Eve, the West End is chock full of famous faces this Spring.
Here are just some of the movie, TV and popstars you can see on the stage.
First look: Rip It Up – The 60s
In possibly the best theatre boyband ever, McFly’s Harry Judd, JLS’s Aston Merrygold, The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith are putting their dance shoes back on and putting on a show!
Celebrating the iconic 60s music era, and throwing in dances, acrobatics and amazing visuals for good measure, this colourful show isn’t to be missed.

Heathers releases debut single
Corn nuts, the time has come! The release date for the Heathers West End cast album has been announced! The full album will be available from Friday, March 1, however, you can download the debut single, the heart-breaking hit tune, I Say No, right now! Featuring the unbelievable talent of Carrie Hope Fletcher (Veronica) and Jamie Muscato (JD), there’s also an accompanying video to enjoy! How very!
New Tina and Ike for The Tina Turner Musical
Watch out London, there’s a new Tina Turner and Ike in town! Nkeki Obi-Melekwe will make her West End debut as the legendary Tina, starring opposite Ashley Zhangazha as Ike, from 15 April.
Nkeki will take over the role of Tina Turner from original London star Adrienne Warren, who will lead the Broadway production when it opens this autumn.
Matthew Bourne’s Romeo And Juliet tours with two casts
Taking the story of Romeo and Juliet and taking it literally, Matthew Bourne’s latest production will feature two touring casts, who will visit different parts of the UK.
For this unique and modern telling of this Shakespeare classic, the two casts will tour across 13 separate venues across the UK. This will include a four-week limited season at Sadler’s Wells from 7 August to 31 August 2019.

It’s not just All About Eve this week (sorry Eve!), as the production’s cast performed their official opening night.

Miriam Margolyes & Griff Rhys Jones to voice Where Is Peter Rabbit?
A classic story from your childhood is coming to the West End! Set in the familiar land of Beatrix Potter, Where Is Peter Rabbit? is perfect for an introduction to the tales or for a trip down memory lane. The story will be told through intricate puppetry, projections, recordings, delightful dancing and merry songs.
And helping the story come to life will be the voices of Olivier Award winner Griff Rhys Jones and BAFTA winner Miriam Margolyes.
True West to have an audio release
Immerse yourself in the experience of stage show True West from the comfort of your own home, when it gets released on audio in April.
Voiced by current cast members, including Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) and Johnny Flynn (Beast, Genius, Lovesick), the audio can be pre-ordered from Audible now.
Horrible Histories’ Barmy Britain comes back in the West End
Fancy meeting ruthless Romans, Queen Elizabeth I, King James I, King Henry VIII, Mary Tudor or Samuel Pepys? Well, you can if you go and watch Horrible Histories’ Barmy Britain when it comes back to the West End from 1 – 31 August 2019.
When this show was performed last year, it became the Horrible Histories team’s most successful show in the series.
