Love Was In The Air today for a new London musical today, as, at the launch event for Strictly Ballroom – The Musical, we were treated to an exciting preview of a surefire West End hit.
With performances from Strictly Ballroom’s stars Will Young, Jonny Labey and Zizi Strallen, as well as the show’s creative team led by Olivier Award-winning director Drew McOnie, the event put smiles on everybody’s faces, sure to last all the way until performances begin at the Piccadilly Theatre on 29 March.

From the award winning director Baz Luhrmann, Strictly Ballroom – The Musical is based on the 1992 romantic comedy film that inspired the world to dance, and tells the inspiring story of a championship ballroom dancer who defies all the rules of the competition to follow his heart.
The show features all the hit songs from the film including Love Is In The Air, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and Time After Time. It will also feature exciting new songs from a host of internationally acclaimed artists – and we can’t wait!
