The Waitress cast has only just starting cooking, and they’re already baking a success, as an extension on the show’s booking period has been announced.
Due to popular demand, more tickets are being released, so you can now buy Waitress tickets up to 19 October 2019.
There will also be a limited number of day seats available to purchase in person from the Adelphi Theatre’s box office for £25 (from 10am, Mon-Weds performances only, subject to availability and at the box office’s discretion).
Waitress is all about Jenna, an expert pie-maker and waitress. Stuck in a small town and an unhappy marriage, Jenna sees a way out of both when she spots a baking contest in a nearby county. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.
The Tony-nominated musical by Sara Bareilles has been an extraordinary hit in America and is currently playing its third year on Broadway. The London transfer will be led by an all-female creative team, a first for a West End musical.
Directed by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus, the all-star cast includes Katharine McPhee (Smash) as Jenna, Emmy-nominee Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) as Ogie, Marisha Wallace (Dreamgirls) as Becky, Laura Baldwin (Eugenius) as Dawn, Peter Hannah (Shakespeare In Love) as Earl, David Hunter (Kinky Boot) as Dr. Pomatter.

And if you’ve got dreams to be the next Jenna or Dr Pomatter, Waitress will also be holding special Cast Album Karaoke” night on 19 February and 18 March. This is your opportunity to get on the stage after the show for a minute and sing any song from the show. Accompanied by the show’s musical director Katharine Woolley, you just need to sign up before the performance on the night if you’re keen!
This week the Waitress cast start their preview performances, with official opening night on 7 March.
