Comedian Vikki Stone will return to the eagerly anticipated Lyric Hammersmith pantomime again this year, with initial casting announced for festive favourite Jack And The Beanstalk.
The award-winning comedian, composer and BBC Proms presenter Stone will perform in the Lyric Hammersmith’s pantomime for the second year in a row in the role of Fleshcreep, joining Cherrelle Skeete (Harry Potter And The Cursed Child original cast), who will play the Fairy Godmother, and who is currently rehearsing at the Lyric in the forthcoming production of The Seagull.
With plenty of magic beans, a loveable cow, an enormous beanstalk, a gigantic giant and a massive adventure, this year’s panto looks set to be the biggest ever.
Other cast members will include Kayla Meikle (Macbeth at the National Theatre) who will play Daisy the Cow and Faith Omole (Twelfth Night, Royal Exchange) who will play Jack. The ensemble is built up of six young performers, as part of the Lyric Hammersmith’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

This year’s festive offering of love, laughs and magic has been penned by Joel Horwood, who wrote last year’s Lyric panto Aladdin, and is co-directed by the theatre’s Artistic Director, Sean Holmes and Jude Christian, an Artistic Associate of the Lyric.
Jack And The Beanstalk will play from Saturday 18 November – Saturday 6 January 2018.
Also playing at the Lyric Hammersmith this Christmas, Joe Stilgoe’s Christmas At The Lyric plays for three nights only in December, while the beloved Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas plays another Christmas season from Wednesday 22 November.
You can book your tickets through the Lyric Hammersmith website.
