When you sit around the dinner table this Christmas, ready to tuck into your roast turkey, the chances are you’ll probably be brandishing two essential items that will make consuming the plate of food in front of you that little bit easier.
But what if one of those items were to be bent, twisted and distorted beyond all recognition? That’s how we imagine it goes down in the Jamie Raven household, judging by the effects he had on a lowly fork when we met the star of The Illusionists – Witness The Impossible.
It would certainly make it that little bit more difficult to spear one of those pigs in blankets, or stop one of those pesky Brussel sprouts in its tracks.
Thankfully – for us, at least – Raven’s jaw-dropping, fork-manipulating skills are confined to the Shaftesbury Theatre where he is leading the cast of West End magic show The Illusionists – Witness The Impossible until 3 January.
Check out the Britain’s Got Talent finalist in all his cutlery-controlling glory and find out how a family holiday in India got him into magic in our video above.
If you want to catch The Illusionists – Witness The Impossible before it departs the West End in the new year, you can book tickets for the show through us.
