Elf the musical… in June. Some may call it premature festive craziness, but we loved having Ben Forster and Kimberley Walsh, stars of the seasonal treat, at West End LIVE.
Yes, it may have been the middle of summer, but who hasn’t yearned for a smattering of snow, a flash of tinsel and the spicy whiff of warm mince pies in the June sunshine? Oh, just me. Fair enough.
We couldn’t let the winner of ITV’s Superstar, Forster, who plays human raised as an elf Buddy, and the Girls Aloud star Walsh, who plays department store colleague Jovie, bring Christmas to the massed Trafalgar Square audience without taking the opportunity to find out more about their show, which comes to London in October, and what it’s like to perform to such an incredible open air audience.
