Beloved family show The Gruffalo returns to the London stage this summer, a whopping 15 years after its first performance. To celebrate their achievement, OLT went to meet Tall Stories’ Creative Producer, Toby Mitchell, and a certain large and furry creature, to find out about their favourite parts of the show, and the moment when they knew they’d hit the big time.
Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep dark wood in search of a nut, meeting the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake on the way. Will the story of the Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these wily woodland creatures? Armed with only a nut map and a little courage, Mouse must outwit them all. After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?
The Gruffalo Live On Stage runs at the Lyric Theatre from 6 July to 8 January 2017. You can book tickets through us here.
The Gruffalo is also taking part in Kids Week, our annual kids go free promotion, which means that children can attend August performances for free. To book tickets, click here.
