Nina Raine’s acclaimed production of Tiger Country will be streamed live to audiences worldwide on the final night of its run at the Hampstead Theatre next week.
A free streaming of the hospital drama, which stars Luther and Game Of Thrones’ Indira Varma, will be available to watch on the Hampstead Theatre’s website and The Telegraph Online as the story unfolds on 17 January and for 72 hours immediately after the performance.

Talking about the importance of the live streaming, Hampstead Theatre’s Artistic Director Edward Hall said: “This is the fourth show we have Free Streamed and is central to our belief that Hampstead Theatre productions should be accessible to people all over the UK and the rest of the world. Hampstead’s previous Free Streams have attracted over 50,000 views in 86 countries demonstrating that with the right sponsorship and media partnerships, it is possible to bring the best of British theatre to a truly global audience.”
Varma leads a cast comprising Ruth Everett, Souad Faress, Jenny Galloway, Nick Hendrix, Maxwell Hutcheon, Tricia Kelly, Alastair MacKenzie, Wunmi Mosaku, Shaun Parkes and Luke Thompson.
Tiger Country will be followed into the Swiss Cottage venue by Tamara Harvey’s production of Peter Souter’s first stage play Hello/Goodbye, which stars Shaun Evans and Miranda Raison, from 21 January.
