The West End Bake Off is back!

Charity Acting For Others has announced that the fourth annual West End Bake Off will take place on Saturday 19 May.

Casts from top West End shows will whip off their costumes and create a stir in the kitchen as they compete for the coveted title of best baker in the West End.

On the same day as His Royal Highness, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle’s wedding, the judges – yet to be announced – will start their decision process from 10.30am with the winners announced at 11am. The event will take place at The Actor’s Church St Paul’s and is free to members of the public. When the Bake Off winner is announced, you will be able to buy cakes, signed posters and mingle with cast and crew from the shows.

Last year, the cast of 42nd Street tapped into their baking talent and hot stepped it into first place with their spectacle of cake creations. The competition was judged by Janie Dee and Arlene Phillips and raised over £6,000 – including online auctions of signed theatre goodies – for the charity.

Acting for Others is a fundraising organisation for 15 UK theatrical charities which supports members of the theatrical community. Charities supported include Equity Charitable Trust, The Royal Theatrical Fund and The Theatrical Guild.
