The producers of The Prince Of Egypt today announced that the production will return to the Dominion Theatre for an open-ended run.
While performances are currently cancelled until Saturday 1 August 2020 and will be additionally suspended until Saturday 31 October 2020, tickets are now available from Monday 2 November 2020 to Saturday 4 September 2021. Performances will officially resume pending UK Government advice.
An incredible 83,000 people attended the 43 performances (including 20 previews) played prior to the UK Government shutdown of theatres and every show received an ecstatic response and standing ovations. The online community has continued to grow during the lockdown and the ‘When You Believe’ video from the launch event has now received a staggering 2.2 million views on YouTube.
The original cast recording was successfully released on digital and streaming formats by Ghostlight Records on 3 April 2020 and a CD will be released later this year. You can read more about that, here.
