With Jamie Lloyd’s 50th anniversary staging of The Homecoming a matter of weeks away, Gemma Chan, Gary Kemp, John Simm and their fellow cast members are busy getting ready for the occasion.
Not by rehearsing – though we’re sure they’re busy doing that too – but getting suited and booted to film the show’s official trailer.
And we couldn’t be more grateful. Following the show’s announcement last month we’ve been more than a little bit eager to see what the show might have in store and this little behind-the-scenes snapshot has worked wonders to satisfy that need… for now, at least.
The latest production to premiere as part of Jamie Lloyd’s acclaimed West End seasons, The Homecoming tells the story of Ruth as she and her professor husband travel from America to visit his family in London, a visit that leads to power struggles, one-upmanship and sexual tension.
The Homecoming begins its run at the Trafalgar Studio 1 on 14 November. Seeing as the cast is well-prepared for its arrival it would only seem fair that theatre fans get ready too. Book your tickets for the show through us before 26 November and we’ll even enter you into our prize draw to win a trip to Broadway!
