The summer edition of London’s leading guide to assisted performances, our very own Access London Theatre brochure, is out now with details of close to 100 audio-described, captioned, signed and relaxed performances taking place over the next four months.
The free publication makes it easy for theatre fans to view many of the assisted performances staged across the capital collated in one place. Available in numerous formats, it’s an invaluable source of information for those who find it difficult to see or hear what is happening on stage during a theatre performance, as well as individuals with autism and other learning disabilities who could benefit from a more relaxed environment when seeing a show.
The new edition covers the busy summer season from May to August and contains an eclectic mix of shows on offer, from family classics to exciting new writing and Olivier Award-winning hits. To make booking for an assisted performance as straight forward as possible, each listing contains details of price, a short description of the show and up to two ways you can book.
In the centre of the guide you’ll also find a handy Venue Access Guide, which provides key information about access facilities at more than 75 London theatres, including contact numbers and email addresses, locations of disabled toilets, information for wheelchair users and even how many steps there are to each level of the theatre.
