There are many words with which to describe the smash-hit revival of Little Shop Of Horrors at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre – but the show’s own, “Strange” and “Interesting”, are pretty much spot on.
So after the show’s recent opening night, we pitched some “Strange” and “Interesting” queries of our own to the cast. Enjoy their answers below…
Little Shop Of Horrors is the stage musical of Roger Corman’s hilariously zany film, with screenplay by Charles Griffith. A horror comedy rock musical, popular songs include the likes of Skid Row (Downtown), Somewhere That’s Green, and Suddenly, Seymour.
The show is set in the dilapidated Skid Row, where for a bunch of misfits, life is full of broken dreams and dead ends. But suddenly, there’s hope on the horizon for flower shop assistant, Seymour, when he discovers a mysterious new plant… with killer potential and a voracious appetite.
Little Shop Of Horrors is booking until 22 September.
