London Musical Theatre Orchestra have completed casting for their spectacular concert version of A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum Theatre – and it’s full to the brim of West End favourites.
New cast members announced include David Hunter (Kinky Boots) as Bob Cratchit, Cedric Neal (Motown The Musical) as The Ghost of Christmas Present, Jeremy Secomb (Les Misérables) as Marley, Caroline Sheen (Mary Poppins) as Mrs Cratchit, and Jon Tarcy (Titus Andronicus) as Fred Anderson.
They join Griff Rhys Jones as Ebenezer Scrooge, alongside Lucie Jones (the UK’s Eurovision 2017 entrant) as Emily/The Ghost of Christmas Future, Miriam-Teak Lee (Hamilton) as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Rosemary Ashe (The Phantom Of The Opera) as Mrs Fezziwig, and Nicolas Colicos (The Producers) as Mr Fezziwig.
The concert returns to The Lyceum Theatre for a third year following overwhelming popular demand on 10th and 17th December after last year’s five-star sell out performances. The performance on Monday 10 December will be in aide of The King’s College Hospital Trust Haematology Campaign.
2018 also marks celebration of the 175th anniversary of the publication of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. This concert version is adapted by Disney favourites Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent from the original story.
Shaun Kerrison returns to direct the hit production, with sound design by Nick Lidster and Avgoustos Psillas and lighting design by Mike Robertson.
Tickets are available via the ATG tickets website.
