It may be a while away from taking to the stage, but The Old Vic have revealed remarkable new casting for their 2019 revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons: the multi award-winning duo Sally Field and Bill Pullman.
And directing the legends of stage and screen will be Jeremy Herrin, as the revival is a co-production with Herrin’s company Headlong Theatre.
All My Sons is set in 1947 America, where Joe and Kate Keller’s hard-fought prosperity and idyllic family are about to be shattered when a figure from their past returns.
With long since buried truths forced to the surface, Miller’s All My Sons lays bare the price of the American Dream. The show is recommended for ages 11+.
Exact dates for the production are yet to be announced, but with a cast list already featuring the likes of Hollywood stars Field – the two-time Academy and three-time Emmy Award winner – and Pullman – a Tony Award-winner – All My Sons will surely prove a theatrical event to look out for.
