One of London’s royal parks will rival Jurassic Park this summer as family puppet show Dinosaur Zoo comes to the Regent’s Park Open Air theatre from 9 August to 8 September.
Created by Australian-based company Erth, Dinosaur Zoo uses ingenious life-size puppetry to bring the pre-historic creatures to life, enabling young audiences to learn about a range of dinosaurs, from infant herbivores to teeth-gnashing carnivores.
Suitable for children aged three and above, the entertaining and imaginative live show will be followed by an opportunity to get to know the Jurassic giants on the picnic lawn.
Dinosaur Zoo will play as part of the Regent’s Park Open Air theatre’s 2013 season, which also includes a new stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride And Prejudice, a re-imagining of The Winter’s Tale for children aged six and older, Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning tale To Kill A Mockingbird and much-loved musical The Sound Of Music.
