The iconic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, The Phantom Of The Opera, has announced several cast changes ahead of the show’s 30th anniversary in the West End.
While Ben Forster, Celinde Schoenmaker and Nadim Naaman will continue to star as the eponymous Phantom, Christine Daaé and Raoul respectively, there will be new faces at the masquerade from Monday 5 September in the form of Siôn Lloyd (Monsieur Firmin), Mark Oxtoby (Monsieur Andre), Paul Ettore Tabone (Piangi) and Daisy Hulbert (Meg).
Megan Llewellyn and Jacinta Mulcahy will continue as prima donna Carlotta and Madame Giry, and Harriet Jones will return as the alternate Christine.
With the Magic Radio Audience Olivier Award-winning show set to celebrate 30 smash-hit years at Her Majesty’s Theatre in early October, this represents an exciting time to join the spectacular West End and Broadway-conquering show.
The Phantom Of The Opera tells the tale of a sinister presence within the Paris Opera House, whose love propels the career of a young chorus girl to stardom. But the advances of childhood friend Raoul turn the masked man from friend to fearsome foe.
