Peppa Pig’s Big Splash will return to the Criterion Theatre for a second year this Christmas, playing a limited season from 2 December to 4 January.
It marks the pink porker’s fifth festive run at the venue following successful West End outings for Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt and Peppa Pig’s Party.
Peppa Pig’s Big Splash follows Peppa and her friends as they organise a fête to raise money to fix the nursery’s leaking roof. There’s plenty of fun to be had as Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig join Danny Dog, Pedro Pony and Suzy Sheep to put up bunting, run stalls and organise a great day out.
If that wasn’t enough to make families flock to the Criterion Theatre this winter, the show also promises a Champion Puddle Jumping competition judged by Mr Potato where everyone gets wet and Peppa needs to find her Golden Boots.
The all-singing, all-dancing adventure features a cast including Emma Grace Arends, Victoria Corlass, Lindsay Harding, Evie James, Alex Newbold, David Sandham and Luke Spencer.
Peppa’s forthcoming London outing concludes the show’s current UK tour. Peppa Pig’s Big Splash will play daytime performances alongside long-running hit The 39 Steps, which continues to bring Alfred Hitchcock’s classic spy thriller to comic life throughout the festive season and beyond.
