Yesterday night marked the opening night of Monday Night At The Apollo, a brand-new concert series starring some of the West End most-loved stars at the iconic Apollo Theatre.
Martha and Natalie from our Official London Theatre team went to experience the show and described it as “a celebration of audiences, artists and the return to theatre.”
Produced and hosted by screen and stage star Greg Barnett, each concert features a different line up of some of the West End’s best-known performers and is also livestreamed so audiences can enjoy it from the comfort of their homes if preferred. You can find out more about Greg in our Tell Us In 10 interview here:

Having seen our Theatre Chat Live episode with Greg Barnett, Martha and Natalie knew they were in for a special night of song and conversation. Not only do the stars sing to a variety of music from genres which are personal to them, they also share some of their most cherished memories from their careers.
And if that hasn’t got you booking tickets to see the second concert, 10% of each ticket sale will be donated to Acting For Others, an organisation made up of 14 individual theatrical charities, so you’ll be helping to support the industry all while enjoying a great night out!
The first concert in the series starred Aimie Atkinson (Pretty Woman: The Musical), Cassidy Janson (The Mousetrap), Lucie Jones (Les Misérables – The Staged Concert), Cedric Neal and Julian Ovenden. Just check out the curtain call below which has got us feelin’ all the magical stagey feels, as have the newly released production images, which you can see here.
Book your tickets to see this epic show playing next on 14 June starring Shan Ako, Arthur Darvill, Sophie Evans, Sandra Marvin, Oliver Tompsett. The final concert in the series will take place on Monday 5 July, with the full casting yet to be announced.
