Olivier Award nominee Phil Dunster will join Kenneth Branagh and John Hurt in the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company production of The Entertainer later this summer.

The actor, who received his recent Olivier nomination for his work on Pink Mist at the Bush Theatre, completes a cast that also includes Downton Abbey’s Sophie McShera, Greta Scacchi, Crispin Letts and Jonah Hauer-King.

Dunster plays Graham opposite Branagh as Archie Rice in John Osborne’s modern classic that examines public masks and private torment through the prism of the seedy glamour of music halls.

The Entertainer runs from 20 August to 12 November and is the final production in the Plays At The Garrick season that included The Winter’s Tale, Harlequinade, Red Velvet, current comedy The Painkiller and the upcoming revival of Romeo And Juliet

Shakespeare’s classic tragedy reunites two stars previously directed by Branagh in his big screen production of Cinderella, Game Of Thrones’ Richard Madden and Downton Abbey’s Lily James.
