Musical theatre fans, prepare yourselves, there’s a series of late-night informal concerts with some of your favourite West End stars on the horizon.
The series, entitled Night Caps, has already got an exciting line-up announced, including:

- Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Murder Ballad, In The Heights): 18 February
- Evelyn Hoskins (Carrie The Musical): 12 February
- Rob Houchen (Eugenius!): 16 February
- Sophie Isaacs (Heathers): 13 February
- Emma Kingston (Evita, In The Heights): 21 February
- Claudia Kariuk (School of Rock): 19 February
- Jordan Luke Gage (Bat Out Of Hell): 23 February
- Laura Pitt-Pulford (Flowers for Mrs Harris, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers): 20 February
- Tosh Wanogho-Maud (Dreamgirls, The Book of Mormon): 11 February
Taking place at The Other Palace, these performances will take place in its Studio each night during MT Fest UK. An intimate and informal gig, the audience will learn more about these incredible performers through the songs that shaped them, songs they may never get to sing and songs from new works.
Paul Taylor-Mills’ MT Fest UK is a new two-week festival of musical theatre, running from 11 – 23 February 2019. The festival will showcase work from new, emerging and established writers, as well as running talks and concerts from celebrated writers, performers and producers.
Part of the festival is a Taster Menu series of eight new musicals, which will be a mixture of commissions from Paul, reworked Broadway shows and brand new musicals which Paul has developed. Each of these musicals will last 45 minutes and be semi-staged in The Other Palace’s Studio. The musicals which are being showcased are; AA, Nerds, First Date, Porn the Musical, But I’m a Cheerleader, Bloody Bloody Jessica Fletcher, The Astonishing Return of… The Protagonists and Killer Queen.
