A Lycra-clad opera-singer, a hula-hoop expert and a Canadian clown are among the additions to the line-up of cabaret show La Soirée this autumn.
La Soirée, which opens at a pop-up venue on the South Bank on 21 October, presents a collection of international cabaret artists, many of whom were previously seen in London as part of award-winning show La Clique at the London Hippodrome.
Joining the already announced Captain Frodo, Bath Boy, The English Gents and Miss Behave are: Cabaret Decadanse, a choreographed puppet show for adults; Le Gateau Chocolat, who sings pop, jazz and musical theatre classics in a baritone voice; Australian comedienne Jess Love; cheeky clown Marawa; and Mooky Cornish, a Canadian comic who has previously appeared in Cirque Du Soleil’s show Varekai.
La Soirée, which is now previewing, plays in London until 30 January.
