Toby Jones and Richard Armitage will star in a new production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya in January next year at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Read all about it below.

The full casting for Matthew Bourne’s The Red Shoes was announced today. The production begins touring on 18 November ahead of a Christmas season at Sadler’s Wells.
Most of the original cast will be returning, including Ashley Shaw as Victoria Page. There will be several rising stars performing in the production for the first time, and Matthew Bourne’s original Swan Adam Cooper, who hasn’t danced in a Matthew Bourne production in 20 years.

David Mitchell will be making his West End debut in a stage version of BBC sitcom Upstart Crow. The TV series has been specially adapted for stage by the show’s writer, Ben Elton. Read more about the news below.

The casting has been announced for The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe at The Bridge Theatre, who began rehearsals this week.
The cast features Laura Elphinstone (Young Marx, Vera) as the White Witch/Mrs Macready, Wil Johnson (Sweat, Waking The Dead) as Aslan/Professor Kirk and Stuart Neal (The Producers, Les Miserables film) as Mr Tumnus.
The cast alson includes Femi Akinfolarin as Peter, Omari Bernard as Maugrim, Shalisa James-Davis as Susan, Keziah Joseph as Lucy, John Leader as Edmund, Dean Nolan as Mr Beaver and Beverly Rudd as Mrs Beaver.

We got a sneak peek at the rehearsal shots of The Girl Who Fell. The play, starring Claire Goose (EastEnders), Navin Chowdhry (Doctor Foster), Rosie Day (Outlander) and Will Fletcher, follows a mother’s attempts to understand her teen daughter’s suicide and her tangle in the digital world.
The Girl Who Fell opens at Trafalgar Studios 2 on 15 October.
