The Donmar Warehouse has announced the full casting for Teenage Dick; Mark Lew’s retelling of Shakepeare’s Richard III, directed by Michael Longhurst.
Joining the previously announced Daniel Monks and Susan Wokoma are Callum Adams (Sweat, Episodes), Alice Hewkin (The Vote, Sex Education), Siena Kelly (Describe The Night, Adult Material) and Ruth Madeley (The Greatest Wealth, Don’t Take My Baby).
The Hampstead Theatre also announced the casting for the world premiere of psychological thriller Ravens: Spassky vs. Fischer, written by Tom Morton-Smith. Directed by Annabelle Comyn, this play tells the story of the chess match of the century in 1972, between two grand chessmasters from the USSR and USA; Boris Spassky and Bobby Fischer.
The cast will include Ronan Raftery as Boris Spassky and Robert Emms as Bobby Fischer. They will be joined by Gunnar Cauthery, Simon Chandler, Buffy Davis, Philip Desmeules, Solomon Israel, Beruce Khan, Emma Pallant, Gyuri Sarossy, Rebecca Scroggs and Gary Shelford.

We got a sneak peek at production images of Jordan Tannahill’s Botticelli In The Fire, which opens today at the Hampstead Theatre. Directed by Blanche McIntyre, the production re-imagines Renaissance Italy, asking how much of ourselves we would be willing to sacrifice when society begins to fall apart. Dickie Beau (Bohemian Rhapsody and Re-Member Me) stars as Sandro Botticelli, joined by Hiran Abeysekera, Stefan Adegbola, Adetomiwa Edun, Louise Gold, Sirine Saba and Howard Ward.
