Tony nominated American composer and lyricist Andrew Lippa is to play a one-off concert at the St James theatre later this year.
Taking place on 17 November, the concert will feature guest performances from a host of musical theatre performers from the West End and Broadway as he takes audiences on a journey through his life and career.
The writer and composer, best known for Broadway hit The Addams Family and Off-Broadway’s The Wild Thing, will preview the music for his upcoming work Big Fish, a musical adaptation of the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and acclaimed Tim Burton film, alongside hits from his well-known shows and lesser known works.
The concert, which marks Lippa’s London debut, will play at the St James theatre following Trevor Nunn’s current production of Scenes From A Marriage starring Olivia Williams, which runs at the venue until 9 November.
