Cult musical Moby Dick is creating a splash once more, as it is to receive its first major London revival at the Landor theatre this April.
The tuner with added tuna, which was first produced by Cameron Mackintosh in 1991, tells the tale of St Godley’s Academy for Young Ladies, a struggling school that tries to save itself from bankruptcy by staging a production of Melville’s fishy fable in the school’s swimming pool.
The Landor revival, which runs from 27 April to 28 May, features a cast including I’d Do Anything contestant Sarah Lark, West End regular Debbie Kurup and Michelle Bishop, who recently appeared in the Southwark Playhouse revival of Company.
The fin-tastic show will be directed and choreographed by Andrew Wright, who returns to the Landor, where he previously worked on the revival of By Jeeves.
