Judge the Olivier Awards and see theatre for free!

First Published 30 September 2009, Last Updated 1 August 2018

The Society of London Theatre is searching for members of the theatregoing public to attend a year’s worth of productions absolutely free and help decide who wins London theatre’s most prestigious awards.

The Laurence Olivier Awards needs regular theatregoers who love expressing their opinions to join theatre professionals on its judging panels for the 2011 awards, watching and evaluating productions that open in London between 1 January and 31 December 2010.

The awards, which have been handed out to the very best of the capital’s theatre since 1976, needs interested, committed and experienced theatregoers to sit on its Theatre, Opera, Dance and Affiliates panels, watching up to 80 shows a year in search of the very best productions and performances, directors and designers on offer.

If a year of free theatregoing sounds right up your dramatic street, application forms can be found online and at West End theatres, and can be requested by emailing awards@solttma.co.uk or sending a self-addressed envelope to Awards Office, The Society of London Theatre, 32 Rose Street, London WC2E 9ET. The closing date for applications is 30 November 2009.
