An early Christmas present for you all! Emmy nominee and 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer will make his West End debut as Ogie in Waitress.
Jack, who is best known for his role as Kenneth Parcell in the hit TV comedy, will join a West End Waitress cast including Katharine McPhee as Jenna, Marisha Wallace as Becky, Laura Baldwin as Dawn, Peter Hannah as Earl and David Hunter as Dr Pomatter, when preview performances begin on 8 February 2019.
Jack is mostly known for his on-screen roles, including parts in Cooties, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, ABC’s The Middle, and Comedy Central’s Drunk History. He also voiced Fix-It Felix in Wreck-It Ralph.
Currently playing its third year on Broadway, Waitress will begin performances at the West End’s Adelphi Theatre in February, officially opening on 7 March.
The show recently announced plans for its first “Cast Album Karaoke” nights in London, which will see theatre lovers offered the opportunity to perform songs from the show on the West End stage, accompanied by musical director Katharine Woolley.
Waitress tells the story, an expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and turbulent marriage – and whose dreams may just be about to come true.
