Kieran Lynn’s acclaimed comedy An Incident At The Border will transfer to Trafalgar Studios 2 this summer following its current sell-out world premiere run at the Finborough theatre.
Marking Lynn’s West End playwriting debut, following fringe work including The Recurring Rise And Fall at Hampstead theatre and Pushing Up Poppies at Theatre 503, An Incident At The Border will run from 20 August (press night 22 August) until 15 September at the bijou venue.
Starring Tom Bennett, Florence Hall and Marc Pickering, the dark comedy tells the story of a couple on a romantic walk in a park who suddenly find themselves on opposite sides of a new border. Under the rigorous eyes of a border guard, the situation sees them caught between two nations on the verge of war.
Directed by Bruce Guthrie, whose past work includes Gloucestershire at the Arcola theatre and Stories By Heart at the National Theatre, An Incident At The Border continues its run at the Finborough theatre until 7 August.
