The minute we heard that The Stripper was written by the creators of The Rocky Horror Show we knew it’d be one to watch. Combined with the fact that it’s also a musical, a whodunnit and set in a strip club, it’s fair to say that it’s likely to be a feast for the eyes. Detectives, death threats and a character named Deadpan Dolores all have a role to play in this show; and judging by these rehearsal snaps, there’ll be a fair amount of jazz hands as well. Cast members Gloria Onitiri, Sebastien Torkia, Hannah Grover, Marc Pickering and Michael Steedon are clearly having a whale of a time, with grins and cabaret kicks galore. We’ll just have to wait until 7 July to find out exactly what they’re all smiling about.
