7 Olivier Awards in its original West End run. 5 Tony Awards on Broadway. Show-stopping choreography and heart-warming drama. And its massively eagerly anticipated return is just a week away. What is it, I hear you cry? Curious you may be, as The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time begins previews at the Piccadilly Theatre next week.

Well wonder no longer, because we’ve an exciting look into the rehearsal room of the returning show – and it promises to be as brilliant as we remember it (and then some).

Making his West End debut in the central role of Christopher Boone, Joshua Jenkins, who played the role on the recent UK and international tour, seems to be having a great time ‘flying’ around the room, while there are hints at the stunning visual delights the production became famous for. Take a look below at the rehearsal photos by Ellie Kurttz…

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time’s adapted by two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens and directed by Olivier and Tony Award-winning director Marianne Elliott.

15-year-old Christopher stands beside Mrs Shears’ dead dog. It’s been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington.

He has an extraordinary brain and is exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.
