Stars of the stage came out in force this weekend to celebrate the best of UK theatre at the annual Theatre Awards UK at London’s historic Guildhall.
West End stars Scarlett Strallen, Michael Ball and Laura Michelle Kelly joined actors including Samuel West, Aidan McArdle, Daniel Evans and Leanne Best at the glamorous event, while backstage heroes and the most celebrated creative talents mingled together over champagne.
Before the ceremony begun, guests enjoyed drinks in the imposing medieval crypt. Taking their seats in the spectacular Grand Hall for the announcement of the winners, they were treated to entertainment by Olivier Award-winning performer Clive Rowe and actress, singer and impressionist Jess Robinson over a delicious lunch of smoked salmon, roast lamb and dark chocolate soufflé.
