Life may indeed be a rollercoaster for Boyzone’s Ronan Keating, but, judging from the turnout for his Once press night, his celebrity pals certainly love him for a reason…
No matter what, the arrival of pop star and judge on The X Factor Australia Ronan Keating in Once was sure to have musical theatre fans sharing words, possibly to a different beat. Father and son were destined to agree that Ronan would, indeed, light up the night. Isn’t it a wonder, they might think, before one undoubtedly said to the other that they express their astonishment at Keating’s prowess when they say nothing at all.
Musical fans weren’t the only audience members keen to see what Keating would bring to the role of Irish busker Guy in the heart-warming musical in which he stars opposite Jill Winternitz. Having been appearing in the Olivier Award-winning musical since mid-November, Keating stepped out in front of the press and an auditorium packed with celebs last night.
