What says New York more than the Statue of Liberty and a yellow cab? That’s right, nothing.
So to celebrate our new prize draw, which gives anyone who buys tickets from Official London Theatre or TKTS between now and 26 November the chance to win a trip to Broadway, we brought both to the TKTS booth in Leicester Square.
If we’re honest, we also drank a ‘cawfee’ and nibbled on a bagel to raise our New York stereotype count, but our fear of Miliband levels of food-munching ridicule kept the camera firmly pointing in the opposite direction at that point.
The prize Official London Theatre and TKTS customers could win is pretty amazing: return flights to New York courtesy of Virgin Atlantic, a three-night stay at Manhattan’s luxury Carlyle hotel and Broadway show tickets. Frankly, if there weren’t terms and conditions stopping such a thing, we’d be making sure our names were in the hat too!
