Buckland Theatre Company have released the first images of upcoming production Some Girl(s), written by Tony Award nominee Neil LaBute. The highly acclaimed play became a feature film in 2013, and follows the story of an engaged man on a mission to clear his conscience with his old girlfriends.
Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe celebrates the 400th anniversary of the deaths of Shakespeare and iconic Chinese playwright Tang Xianzu, with an all-female production of Coriolanus And Du Liniang – a new piece based on Shakespeare’s destructive tragedy and Xianzu’s love story, The Peony Pavilion. The opera’s world premiere takes place at the Peacock Theatre on 23 and 24 July. Read more on the official website.
Miriam Margolyes takes to the stage in Seven, a play about the lives of a courageous group of female leaders, as part of the Women And War festival. The play is a collaboration between seven award-winning playwrights, and runs for one night only on 27 June at 6 Fredricks Place. More information can be found on the festival website.

Good Chance theatre pitches up at Southbank Centre this summer as part of the annual Festival of Love, following its acclaimed work in the Calais Jungle. Entitled Encampment, the project features a variety of free events from international artists, including theatre, music, art and workshops.
