Theatre company Punchdrunk and English National Opera are offering the unusual opportunity to help create a movie soundtrack.
Anyone aged seven and over who can play an instrument or sing – whether an absolute beginner or a seasoned professional – is invited to attend this free all-day event in East London on 25 July. Arriving in the morning, participants will spend the day in workshops helping to create the soundtrack to the famous 1935 film Werewolf Of London. They will then perform the soundtrack live to the projected movie in front of an audience.

The day-long event and the screening are both free to attend, but places for either must be reserved in advance by calling 0871 472 0800.
The event takes place at Great Eastern Key in Newham, where Punchdrunk and ENO’s production of The Duchess Of Malfi is currently playing. Those who take part in the soundtrack creation will get a free tour of the set by members of Punchdrunk.
Werewolf Of London, rated PG, is a horror film which centres on a botanist, played by Henry Hull, who is bitten by a werewolf whilst in Tibet searching for an elusive plant. Back in London, he soon begins to realise that the werewolf’s bite has turned him into the same creature. On each transformation, he is overtaken by an urge to hunt and kill.
