Final casting has been revealed for the upcoming revival of Tennessee Williams’ The Night Of The Iguana, with ensemble casting joining the likes of Clive Owen, Anna Gunn, Lia Williams and Julian Glover.
This exciting ensemble includes Finty Williams – who recently starred in the Menier Chocolate Factory’s A Pack Of Lies in a role originated by her mother Dame Judi Dench – as Miss Fellowes. They’re joined by the likes of Alasdair Baker as Herr Fahrenkopf; Timothy Blore as Wolfgang; recent drama school graduate Emma Canning; Karin Carlson as Hilda; Ian Drysdale as Jake Latta; Manuel Pacific as Pancho; Faz Singhateh as Hank; and Panelope Woodman as Frau Fahrenkopf.
The company is completed by Madeleine Day, Mufrida Hayes, Andrew McDonald and David Young.
As well as an exciting cast, The Night Of The Iguana is headed up by a dynamic creative team in director James McDonald (who recently directed Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf and The Father in the West End), and designer Rae Smith – a Tony, Olivier and OBIE award-winning creative. Neil Austin provides lighting design, with Max Pappenheim as sound designer.
The Night Of The Iguana sees Clive Owen, in his first West End role in 18 years, portray the disgraced Reverend T Lawrence Shannon, who leads a group of tourists to a remote coastal Mexican hotel one stormy night, run by the beautiful Maxine. What happens over that evening will leave everybody forever altered.
Performances begin at the Noël Coward Theatre on Saturday 6 July.
