The Vertical Hour, playing at the Park Theatre

Full cast revealed for Vertical Hour

First Published 29 August 2014, Last Updated 29 August 2014

The Park Theatre’s revival of David Hare’s Vertical Hour has added Cameron Cuffe, Pepter Lunkuse and Finlay Robertson to a cast that already included Thusitha Jayasundera and Peter Davison.

Cuffe, a recent graduate from the Lir Academy, makes his professional stage debut in David Hare’s play about personal philosophies and global politics, while Lunkuse previously appeared in Antony And Cleopatra (Chichester Festival Theatre) and Robertson can currently be seen in the Park’s production of Toast.

Former Doctor Who and All Creatures Great And Small star Davison plays the charming but opinionated Oliver in the drama. His son’s girlfriend Nadia, played by Jayasundera, is a former war reporter and Professor of International Relations at Yale who knows her stance on Iraq. When the two meet over a weekend in Shropshire the consequences are far-reaching.

The Vertical Hour received its UK debut at the Royal Court in 2008 with a cast including Indira Varma, Anton Lesser and Tom Riley. It runs at the Park Theatre’s Park200 space following the current production of Richard Bean’s Toast and prior to the London premiere of Robert Holman’s Jonah And Otto.
