Edinburgh Festival hit The Fitzrovia Radio Hour is to return to the West End for a Tuesday night slot at the Ambassadors theatre from 14 February to 6 March.
The show, a spoof of the early days of radio drama, played a season at Trafalgar Studios 2 last January in a double bill with Barbershopera: Apocalypse No!
The Fitzrovia Radio Hour transports audiences back to the 1940s as they witness radio plays being performed live by a troupe of actors who both play the characters and create sound effects with the help of light fittings, whisky bottles and a cabbage.
The new West End season will feature three plays from a selection of five, each satirising the casual imperialism and stiff upper lips of the period.
The show takes over Tuesday nights at the Ambassador theatre, playing concurrently with regular inhabitant Stomp.
