Wow. I mean, wow. If these first snaps of this year’s star-studded London Palladium pantomime, Snow White, don’t get your eyes popping, and your heart welling up with seasonal glee, then maybe it’s time for the festive ghosts to pay you a visit.
Because even by its own high standards, this year’s Palladium panto looks like a true yuletide treat. Resplendent in dazzling costumes, the likes of Dawn French (or “Queen Dragonella”), Julian Clary (The Man in the Mirror), Charlie Stemp (Prince Harry of Hampstead) and Danielle Hope (the titular heroine) are starring at the world-famous venue for the next five weeks, promising festive family entertainment of the highest order.
With 2017’s Palladium pantomime, Dick Whittington, winning the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and Family earlier this year, there’s a lot for Snow White to live up to. But from the looks of photographer Paul Coltas’ photos below, the show promises to be an absolute Ball. Take a look.
From the team that brought you the Best Family & Entertainment Olivier Award-winning show Dick Whittington, Snow White at the London Palladium sees Qdos Entertainment return to the world-famous theatre with a stunning array of stars, scenery, special effects and classic family entertainment this festive season.
This third brand-new production created especially for the London Palladium will again have scenery designed by Ian Westbrook, with costumes designed by Hugh Durrant, visual special effects by The Twins FX, lighting by Ben Cracknell and original music by Gary Hind. Nick Thomas and Michael Harrison produce for Qdos Entertainment.
