It’s almost panto season! Oh, no it’s not. Oh, yes, scarily it almost is. And today, further casting has been announced for the upcoming annual London Palladium panto, Snow White.

Charlie Stemp and Danielle Hope will be joining the cast as The Prince and Snow White respectively. The pair of musical theatre superstars will be starring alongside Dawn French, Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, and Nigel Havers.

Along with the new announcement comes a first glimpse at the all-star cast in their costumes ready for December to roll around – even if we’re not quite there yet ourselves.

See Dawn French as The Wicked Queen, Julian Clary as The Man In The Mirror, Paul Zerdin as Muddles, Nigel Havers as The Understudy, Gary Wilmot as Mrs Crumble, and Vincent and Flavia as The King and The Queen below.

The principal cast is joined by Josh Bennett, Simeon Dyer, Craig Garner, Ben Goffe, Jamie John, Blake Lisle and Andrew Martin as The Magnificent Seven and ensemble members Faye Best, Myles Brown, Darragh Cowley, Ivan De Freitas, Scott English, Liz Ewing, Ross Finnie, Diana Girbau, Matt Holland, Abigayle Honeywill, Stevie Hutchinson, Jemima Loddy, Megan Louch, Mollie McGugan, James Paterson, Leanne Pinder, Oliver Roll, Jordan Rose, Aaron J Smith, Lucie-Mae Sumner, Carrie Sutton, Grant Thresh and Charlotte Wilmot along with The Palladium Pantoloons.

Snow White is produced by the Olivier Award-winning team behind last year’s Dick Whittington. It’s directed by Michael Harrison, with choreography by Karen Bruce, scenery designed by Ian Westbrook, costumes designed by Hugh Durrant, speciality costumes designed by Mike Coltman, visual special effects by The Twins FX, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound design by Gareth Owen, video and projection design by Duncan McLean, and original music by Gary Hind.

Playing for five weeks only, you can see Snow White at the London Palladium from 8 December to 13 January. If the previous productions are any indication, and we very much think they are, Snow White will feature all the sparkle, scale and spectacle London has come to expect from the West End’s most lavish festive production in a show packed full of laughter, music, special effects and theatrical magic.
