If you’ve ever seen The Importance Of Being Earnest, you’ll know two things: firstly, that Miss Prism, the scrupulous and strict educator, takes her role very seriously. And secondly, the Victorians are terribly busy people, and often have to combine their daily obligations with their mealtimes.
