First Published 29 March 2010, Last Updated 29 March 2010

Dirty White Boy: Tales Of Soho, which tells of the colourful characters that flit in and out of the life of an upmarket Soho menswear shop owner, is to open at the Trafalgar Studio 2 on 26 April.

Based on the successful book of the same name, which began life as a blog and a column for The London Paper, Dirty White Boy: Tales Of Soho tells a touching love story and features characters including Thongman, Chico the campest queen on the street and feisty transsexual Angela.

Clayton Littlewood, who has written every incarnation of Dirty White Boy, also stars in the production, playing the show’s narrator opposite actor David Benson whose credits include Think No Evil Of Us: My Life With Kenneth Williams. The production also stars Alexis Gerred who is best known for his appearance among the final six acts of the 2009 search for a Eurovision Song Contest performer, Your Country Needs You.

Dirty White Boy: Tales Of Soho plays at the Trafalgar Studio 2 following the current production The Fever Chart and the Synergy Theatre Project’s production of Stephen Adly Guirgis’s Jesus Hopped The A-Train.
