The first pantomime at the London Palladium in nearly three decades, Cinderella, has today released the first image of its all-star cast.
“Oh no it hasn’t!” the audience may cry. But the evidence above speaks for itself, with rising star Natasha J Barnes in her patched-up Cinderella dress, Paul O’Grady looking like a thoroughly Wicked Stepmother and Amanda Holden twinkling as The Fairy Godmother.
Julian Clary and Lee Mead are resplendent as Dandini and Prince Charming respectively, while Nigel Havers, Count Arthur Strong and Paul Zerdin are clearly already enjoying the chance to get into the roles of Baron Hardup, Lord Chamberlain and Buttons.
Produced by Nick Thomas and Michael Harrison for Qdos Entertainment, the eagerly anticipated revival of pantomime at the London Palladium will run for five weeks only over the Festive season, and promises to revive the rags-to-riches fairy tale with enchanting spectacle and starry casting.
The show also later released a tantalising trailer:
You won’t need a magical Fairy Godmother to get hold of tickets to the show; you can book them through us here.
