Family fun will come in the form of Cinderella and Father Christmas at the Lyric Hammermsmith this festive season.
In the west London venue’s main house Tom Wells’ take on classic Christmas panto Cinderella will play from 21 November to 3 January.
The family-friendly show, which welcomes children aged six-years-old and older, invites audiences to grab their glittery Converse and put the pumpkin into top gear as the heroine of its title heads to the biggest party of the season.
Meanwhile, the Lyric Hammersmith Studio will once again play host to everyone’s favourite festive fellow when Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas returns from 20 November to 24 December.
Now in its fourth year in the bijoux space, the much-loved show provides the perfect introduction to theatre for children under six-years-old with the classic tale of Santa on his busiest day of the year.
Featuring magical snow-steeped designs by Zoe Squire, the Pins And Needles production brings Briggs’ story to life with live music and striking puppets.
The Lyric Hammersmith’s festive season joins a host of other family-friendly shows on offer at the venue in 2015. Bugsy Malone, Alan Parker’s hit musical featuring a cast of splurge gun-toting youngsters, is currently playing at the newly refurbished venue, while The Adventure, an interactive mystery for ages seven to 13-years-old, will run from 23 May to 6 June.
