Festive family treat The Night Before Christmas will bring a dash of North Pole magic to the Ambassadors theatre this winter.
The seasonal children’s production will give performances during the day, with resident show Stomp continuing its schedule of evening and matinees shows.
The “unique Christmas experience” runs from 7-24 December and offers excited audiences a chance to post their Christmas list, meet Father Christmas, receive a special gift and see a special yuletide show.
The tinsel-tastic tale is set in Santa’s workshop, where a lovable but naughty elf is busy wrapping all the children’s presents for Father Christmas to deliver… or is he? The festive family frolic is full of songs, poems, stories and a jolly old man dressed in red who, with the help of the audience, will explain the real meaning of Christmas.
The Night Before Christmas is the second children’s show to be announced for a West End run this winter. It joins Peppa Pig’s Party, which opens at the Criterion theatre in November, where it will run concurrently with long-running comedy The 39 Steps.
