Children’s cast announced for The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ – The Musical

You can’t tell a story about fictional teenage icon Adrian Mole and his friends without a stellar cast of children to bring it to life.

Which is why the producers of Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13¾ – The Musical have now announced who will be playing the main roles of Adrian, Pandora, Barry and Nigel in the upcoming production. Each role has four alternate performers aged between 12-14 years old, ensuring each child has a few evenings off!

The lead role of diary writer Adrian will be performed by Nicholas Antoniou-Tibbitts, Aaron Gelkoff, Michael Hawkins and Rufus Kampa.

The role of Pandora (Adrian’s crush) will be performed by Molly May Gibson, Matilda Hopkins, Rebecca Nardin and Riya Vyas.

Playing bully Barry will be Jack Gale, Aaron Shaw, Charlie Stripp and Kobi Watson, while Adrian’s best friend, Nigel, will be played by Regan Garcia, Albert Green, Cuba Kamanu and Jeremiah Davan Waysome.

The children will be starring alongside previously announced cast members, including Olivier Award nominees Rosemary Ashe (The Phantom Of The Opera and Les Misérables), Ian Tablot (star of Hairspray and former Artistic Director of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Andrew Langtree (Groundhog Day) as Grandma, Bert Baxtor and George respectively.

The worst kept secret in all of literature, The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾. is a classic tale of teenage anguish, family problems and the heart-breaking experience of unrequited love, all told through Adrian’s not-so-secret diary.

The book has sold over 20 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 30 languages. There are now seven sequels to the original story by Sue Townsend, and it’s gone onto inspire TV, radio and stage adaptations.

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13¾ – The Musical will open at the Ambassadors Theatre for a limited run from 15 June until 12 October 2019. Tickets are available now!
