Former EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks and The Crown star Patrick Ryecart will join Janie Dee in new play Monogamy at the Park Theatre.
Brooks, who is perhaps best known for playing popular villain Janine Butcher in the BBC soap, will play Sally, opposite Ryecart (the Duke of Norfolk in The Crown; Sir Hugh Bodrugan in Poldark) as Mike. The previously announced Dee will play Caroline Mortimer.
Monogamy will also star Jack Archer (Quaint Honour, Finborough) as Leo, Genevieve Gaunt (Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban) as Amanda, and Jack Sandle (War Horse, West End) as Graeme.
Torben Betts’ new play Monogamy centres on Caroline Mortimer: TV star, darling of the nation, with a sparkling career and dream family and home life. But conflict bubbles beneath the surface, and under the glare of the immaculate furnishings and studio lighting, Caroline must face the prospect of living a private life in the public eye. What happens when the cameras turn off, and the truth comes out?
Directed by Alastair Whitley, Monogamy arrives at the Park Theatre at the culmination of a UK tour, beginning a limited 5-week season on 6 June and playing until 7 July.
